Stormy Satisfactions

Garden Reports and Rejoicing – June 2

The rain fell off and on today which is very good for all the young plants and seeds we’ve put in the ground. In between showers we planted, and in the late afternoon I went up to the garden shed and transplanted seedlings into larger pots. It was an experience that makes me thankful and thoughtful. What a blessing to be dry, listening to the rainfall and working with small plants. And is it possible to look for ways to grow in other, more metaphorical, periods of stormy weather?

I put Deep Apricot Profusion Zinnias, Jewels of Opar and Campanula rigidipila seedlings in larger pots and listened to the rain. Satisfaction.

Hi C.L: Greatfull for the rain. Missed your Radio this morning but glad to see it now available up here. Dodging the rain drops here also, doing what ever we can.

    Have a great evening,
    John

If there isn’t already, maybe there should be a saying that “Gardening makes you wise.” Yes, indeed, growth in stormy weather.

How fortunate you are to have this space. Always a fantasy of mine. Actually a conservatory would do nicely!

So BRIGHT there and HOPEFUL as you cheerfully plant new ‘babies’! Your shed is the ultimate!
