There are times, thankfully, of sudden grace. A moment when despite the chaos, satisfaction, problems, pleasures, undone work and unfulfilled dreams we are suddenly in the moment and all seems just as it should be.

Today I walked outside to take photographs and was suddenly, unexpectedly, in that place. The evening light was caught in the nets draped over the tomatoes (damn crows!) and backlit the Blue River II Hibiscus flowers. For no reason at all I felt right there, at peace.

And it’s a lucky thing, too… appreciated, welcomed, and hopefully remembered.
