Report From PIA – April 21
I take it all back. Yesterday’s headline said “I Love Spring/I Hate Spring” and today I’m here to say that this is the most wonderful, energizing season there is. Yes, I’m still pulled in several directions, but one bouquet of tulips from the cutting garden, and a late-day glance at the awakening perennial garden, find me renewed and grateful.
Isn’t this a wonderful thing? That we humans can be transformed in an instant…that we can move from exhausted to energized is nothing short of miraculous. This is what this season of regeneration is all about.
Last fall I bought assorted tulip bulbs to plant in the cutting garden, and today I'm so glad I did.
The picture in no way captures the garden that grabbed my heart this evening and energized me despite a tiring day.
