Garden Reports and Rejoicing – November 20th – In the spirit of Thanksgiving Week
Dear Bluebirds,
Thanks for hanging out in my gardens instead of flying south for the winter. Your brilliant coloring catches my eye and lifts my heart…a good thing too, since it causes me to notice your longing looks at the dirty birdbath. We people take clean running water for granted and sometimes forget that we need to help you out in this area.
I promise I’ll dig the birdbath heater out of the mess in the garage soon; it will be installed before it gets colder. In the meantime, I’ve cleaned the pan and added fresh water. Sorry for the delay. Thanks for sticking around even when I forget to do my part.
