Garden Reports and Rejoicing – June 2

The rain fell off and on today which is very good for all the young plants and seeds we’ve put in the ground. In between showers we planted, and in the late afternoon I went up to the garden shed and transplanted seedlings into larger pots. It was an experience that makes me thankful and thoughtful. What a blessing to be dry, listening to the rainfall and working with small plants. And is it possible to look for ways to grow in other, more metaphorical, periods of stormy weather?

I put Deep Apricot Profusion Zinnias, Jewels of Opar and Campanula rigidipila seedlings in larger pots and listened to the rain. Satisfaction.
