Report From An Opinionated Gardener – January 27
The driveway is a sheet of ice and the banks of snow are so high that if there is another significant storm I won’t be able to pull my car out of the driveway.
But, the dog is so cute as he dashes around in the white stuff, trying to cram as much in his mouth as he can before I tell him “No eating snow!” And the garden gnome by the back door seems to smirk even as he’s frozen to the wall.
No matter what is going on, it’s important to keep a sense of humor.
He's a talisman and reminder of the growing season that will surely be back again.
